The 310T Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles to ensure they are in optimal operating condition. This role requires a professional with expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. The ideal candidate will be a certified 310T Technician with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Location: 2635 Trout Lake Rd, North Bay (Chrysler)
Compensation: $40 per hour with a Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Diagnosing source of malfunctions and performing repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Determining if additional safety or service work is required by thoroughly examining vehicles
- Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty prior to performing warranty repairs
- Performing road tests using safe driving standards
- Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills both verbal and written
- Ensure the service shop is maintained in a clean, organized, hazard-free manner
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring to the Table:
- Applicant must possess a 310T License
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Positive Teamwork Attitude
