The Hourly Day Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards for guest experience, food quality, and cleanliness. This role includes leading and supporting staff, managing both front- and back-of-house operations, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
Wage: $Min 23.00 Mid $25.00 Max$27.00
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Indirectly collaborates with the general/assistant managers to recruit and hire staff.
Trains, schedules, and supervises lower-level food services staff.
Open the restaurant, ensuring that all dining, back-of-house, and bar areas are properly set up and prepared for service.
Close the restaurant, ensuring all areas are cleaned, stocked, and secured.
Hold staff accountable for their job duties during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure proper money handling procedures are followed, including cash drops and register balancing.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and labor laws.
Ensure all guests receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
Ensure all food and beverages are consistently prepared and served to Keke’s standards.
Support team members by filling in as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance.
Provide leadership, coaching, and problem-solving to create a positive and productive work environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and support a team.
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, including food service and kitchen procedures.
Basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must understand and be able to support each restaurant position (server, cook, host, bar, etc.).
Able to comply with Keke’s Breakfast Cafe dress code standards.
Must obtain ServSafe Certification
Prolonged standing and walking are routinely required. Routinely lifts and carries objects weighing up to 25- 50 pounds. Routinely required to stand, walk, bend, carry, crouch, grasp, hold, kneel, lift, push/pull, reach, sit, squat, stand, stoop, stretch, turn, twist, talk, listen and communicate with others.
