RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter Purchase Orders for raw materials.
Schedule raw material deliveries, follow up with vendors and maintain inventory.
Answer questions from plant personnel and vendors.
Ensure confirmations are received on all orders processed.
Goods Receipt BOLs of raw materials.
Entering raw material data and supporting the month end process. · Assist production team as needed
Ensuring stakeholder management through communicating raw material supply status via various communication mtgs (Monthly, quarterly, etc)
Monitoring actual raw material consumption against planned raw material usage.
Answer general AP questions from suppliers (i.e. when payment will be rendered, general payment issues) Work with AP to address related to raw materials.
Submit invoices to AP for payment. The invoices are mainly received by mail.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 plus years related supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
Computer skills: Experience with SAP which includes general working knowledge of RCM, maintenance, purchasing, vendor, and warehouse modules Microsoft software (Excel, Word)
General knowledge of packing materials, equipment, services, and consignment material as it relates to a manufacturing site.
Knowledge of the Blair Production plant and raw materials used in production
Knowledge of Evonik’s policies and procedures in the purchasing, production, and warehousing areas.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to organize and implement multiple tasks.
