The successful candidate will have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA license
- 7-10 years tax experience
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Track record of team leadership or people coaching

The core job functions include
- Review corporate, individual, partnership and other tax returns prepared by associates, while giving feedback for both coaching and accuracy
- Responsible for specific tax, accounting and consulting engagements
- Supervise and mentor staff on a number of projects concurrently
- Directly correspond and communicate with the clients
- Process engagement responsibilities from beginning to end, including communicating status of assignments
- Train staff and provide useful feedback throughout engagement
- Research and resolve technical tax matters
- Assist with developing additional services for current clients
- Developing contacts through networking and community involvement and maintaining contacts for referral base
