At 41South we design, fabricate, and install custom architectural graphics and signage across the east coast for commercial clients. As a Project Manager, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce spaces that exceed client expectations. You will oversee design, production and installation work streams from start to finish and ensure projects are realized in a manner that meets expectations for client satisfaction, team leadership and financial performance. We are seeking a talented Project Manager who is proactive, thrives in a team setting, and is looking for a long-term commitment. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases throughout intended scope for assigned project work streams, including project initiation, planning, design, production and administration. Clearly creating and communicating project objectives and requirements.
- Establish and maintain ongoing communication and productive relationships with new and existing clients as requested to initialize and manage projects.
- Manage client and project expectations, team communication and vendor coordination through project scheduling, budgeting and general oversight with clients, various internal departments and vendors.
- Anticipating the needs of the project/client and preparing applicable project work-plans to cater to a projects as well as actively manage, track and be accountable for financial performance of a project.
- Ensure projects conform to contract. Adjusting schedules, targets, and initiating change orders on the project as needed.
- Delegating tasks of the project to correct departments following SOP guidelines as determined by Operations Management.
- Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Maintaining consistent project knowledge through stages of production in order to effectively communicate updates to C-Suite level executives.
- Actively lead teams, motivating people involved in the successful delivery of projects.
The Basics:
- Minimum 3yrs experience in a construction, Project Management, or Installation field(s)
- Proven leadership skills

Always a Plus:
- Signage and/or construction industry experience/knowledge
- Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
- Basic understanding of the manufacturing process
