Dispensary Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dispensary. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of cannabis products, ensuring compliance with all regulations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective management of staff, inventory, and financial operations to drive the success of the dispensary.

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of dispensary operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and compliance with regulations.
• Implement effective cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity.
• Manage budgets and financial reporting to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
• Foster a welcoming environment for customers by providing product knowledge and personalized service.
• Negotiate with suppliers for product procurement and pricing to optimize inventory costs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to cannabis sales.

Requirements

• Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the retail or cannabis industry.
• Strong skills in recruiting, shift management, budgeting, inventory management, cash handling, and sales.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance customer engagement and service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
