Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Sr. Director of Accounting and Treasury to join our finance team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Your Challenges:
- Must maintain a high degree of integrity and strict confidence due to exposure to significant confidential information.
- Responsible for preparation of company financial statements, totaling approximately $1 billion in assets and approximately $1 billion in annual revenues.
- Responsible for proposing and supporting CFO departmental operating budget of $15-20 million.
- Through direction of credit management team, indirectly/directly interface with many external customers, with emphasis on large, strategic customers.
- Signer on company bank accounts.
- Signer of key company documents, such as tax returns and aircraft Bills of Sale.
- Familiarity with SAP
Level of Decision Making:
- This position works largely independently, making key decisions every day affecting the use of company monies and resources. Decisions include strategic, tactical, and operational. Recommendations are made to executive management regarding status and improvements in internal controls and compliance topics, as well as technical accounting decisions.
Your Boarding Pass:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA/BBA) in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience Preferred - Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Minimum fifteen (15) years general accounting experience as well as management experience of at least twelve (12) years; Preferred, directly related experience within an Accounting/Finance department
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA, and/or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or equivalent.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and ability to prepare financial statements. Must be able to effectively lead a diverse and multi-location team of accountants and accounting support personnel in a shared-services environment.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers at all levels of personnel.
- Able to read and interpret various types of technical documentation and data.
- Ability to use computers, and associated software, specifically Google Suite and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Physical Requirements:
- Onsite or remote: 60% Onsite
- Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
- Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily
- Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
- Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily
- Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily
- Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily
- Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Several times a month
- Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
- Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Several times a month
- Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Several times a month
- Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. A few times per year
- Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily
- Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
- Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
