Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for Long-term Interns to join our Customer Training department based in Grand Prairie, TX.
You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying deficiencies/inefficiencies, and designing and implementing innovative business solutions/processes to optimize business operations within the Airbus Helicopters North America (AHNA) Customer Training Department.

Your Challenges:
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Records Improvement Project: 70%
Assist in the evaluation and process improvement project for the collection and retention of customer information and training documentation, including student training records and training event documentation.
To the extent possible, reduce manual, time consuming tasks and increase reliability of the overall process/system.
Assess and ensure the functionality and sustainability of overall design and end-to-end process based on planned hardware/software upgrades.
Continuous Improvement: 20%
Evaluate other customer training business processes for deficiencies/inefficiencies
Recommend solutions to optimize business operations
Assist with execution of approved improvements, and
Develop/update internal user tool documentation accordingly to satisfy control requirements
Customer Service: 10%
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who enter our facility
Assist administration team with customer service oriented tasks when asked.

High School Diploma with GPA of 3.0 or higher
Current college student majoring in business, education, and/or media program of study
Must be able to demonstrate customer service experience
Must be able to collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds
Must be able to resolve conflict and treat colleagues and customers in a professional manner at all times
Must be detail oriented, but also able to focus on the big picture
Must be able to speak/read/write in English
MS Office
Web-based application proficiency
Authorized to Work in the US
Preferred:
College credits in accredited business, education, and/or media program of study
Knowledge of learning management, and/or data management applications
Learning Management System knowledge a plus
Physical Requirements:
Onsite: 100%
Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.Several times a week
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Several times a week
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Several times a week
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.80% or more
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.20%
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Infrequently, 0-5%
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
