Bank Equipment / Physical Security Lead Installer

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under general direction of the Installation Manager, installs bank equipment including lobby, through-the-wall, island ATMs, cash recyclers, safes, safety deposit boxes, drive-up drawers, windows and pneumatic systems, undercounter steel, night depository, onsite construction modifications, daily prep work for the above installations. and occasionally assist in erecting vaults.

Normal work week is Monday through Friday with overtime opportunities available.

Work days begin / end at shop in Keenesburg, CO, work is performed at different sites (daily) across Front Range and surrounding areas

Travel 3-4 times per month w / overnight stay outside of Metro area is common.

Occasional weekend and / or after-hours work may be required but is not common.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Install and remove bank equipment according to cut sheets and drawings
  • Operate pallet jacks, bars, roller pins, blocks to place equipment into position
  • Install and remove customer signage
  • Drive a box truck long distance, which may require overnight stays (per diem covered) throughout Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska
  • Make modifications to walls and concrete pads for equipment installation
  • Lead and give directions to other workers performing same duties
  • Serve as a finisher. Ensuring that all equipment is working correctly after installation. Cleaning equipment. Setting up audio systems.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to position and employment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and expectations to the benefit of the organization and co-workers.
  • Productively and positively contribute to the company’s goal of maintaining a safe, healthy, efficient, and enjoyable workplace.
  • Accurately completes all paperwork, including time sheets, in a timely manner.
  • Use a smartphone for schedule, timecard, job communication and to send site completion pictures
  • Use power tools; operate a forklift and box truck lift gate
  • Communicate and explain job details with the installation team
  • Work safely with minimal supervision
  • Maintain clean and safe jobsite environment
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Required Education and Experience / Skills :

  • Prior knowledge and experience with multiple types of bank equipment and ATM products and installations. Experience with leading a crew and directing installations onsite.
  • Ability to drive a box truck (straight truck)
  • Valid driver’s license and personal transportation to and from primary shop
  • Clean / Safe driving record, and DOT medical card, or ability to obtain
  • Knowledge of use and proper care of power and hand tools, materials and fasteners
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Ability to operate a forklift and truck lift gates
  • Planning, organizing, customer service, detail oriented, follow directions.
  • Able to follow and act on directions
  • Able to give directions, delegate, follow-up, supervise helper
  • Must be willing to travel / stay overnight within our normal service area __
  • Must be available to work overtime as required
  • Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and listening
  • Personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs.
  • Able to pass a drug and background check
  • Manage complex installation involving multiple crew members and coordinate with client, other trades, and / or GC
  • Must understand and follow chain of command when addressing SOW discrepancies
  • Must practice discretion with customer regarding SOW decisions or job cost / timeframe changes
  • Must maintain professional demeanor when interacting with customer at all times
  • Engage with clients in a positive and professional manner
  • Maintain composure under pressure and trouble shoot problems

    • Preferred Experience and Knowledge :

  • Experience in carpentry, construction, heavy equipment moving, bank equipment installation, welding, painting, sheet rock, concrete
  • Ability to read floor plans

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Walking up and down stairs
  • Working indoors / outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the entire work shift
  • Must be able to push, pull 1000 lbs on wheels
  • Lift or carry 100 lbs
