General Position Description:
We welcome energetic team members who enjoy working with others, thrive on support and care about our members. The Member Support Specialist (MSS) greets, assists, and directs members, guests, staff and callers as they enter or call the gym. The MSS also helps new members start on their fitness journey by setting up memberships and assisting with initial set up of the member’s account portal and APP access. External outreach and events let us bring the fun of 425 Fitness to area businesses and community groups.
Each team member plays a key role in the member experience - they help in all aspects of club operations to assure each guest is taken care of.
Skills: A love of fitness certainly helps! Otherwise we are looking for someone with the willingness to learn, can function in fast and slow times, flexible and enjoys people. We can assist in the communication and customer service skills, operation of phone and standard office equipment, and basic record keeping skills needed to be successful in the role. Duties:
- Conduct outbound calls to customers to provide support and assistance
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Document customer interactions and update customer records in the system
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively assist customers
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a customer support or call center role is preferred
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
