Maintenance Technician for Assisted Living Facility (ALF)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Maintain the building and grounds and conduct / coordinate all the necessary repairs.
  • Respond promptly to all requests for repairs or maintenance concerns.
  • Prepare rooms for new residents.
  • Test the fire protection systems as required by code and schedules regular inspections.
  • Maintain the HVAC system.
  • Ensure the lighting and plumbing systems are working properly at all times.
  • Supervise proper removal and disposal of trash.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, etc. regularly.

Must have knowledge and experience with all types of construction phases including :

  • Carpentry
  • Concrete Repairs
  • Electrical
  • Fencing
  • Framing
  • Gutter Repairs
  • Handyman & General Repair Work
  • HVAC
  • Painting (Interior & Exterior)
  • Plumbing
  • Pressure Washing
  • Remodeling & Construction Knowledge
  • Roof Repairs / Replacements
  • Rotten Wood Repairs
  • Sheetrock and Drywall Repairs
  • Tiling
