As a Computer Vision Engineer at 42dot, you will focus on researching and developing advanced autonomous driving technologies. Utilizing sophisticated computer vision and machine learning techniques, you will process various visual data acquired from autonomous vehicles and implement human-level autonomous driving perception capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop 3D computer vision and machine learning algorithms for integrating autonomous driving technology
- Perform 3D shape modeling and processing tasks
- Implement object pose estimation and tracking algorithms
- Develop efficient and scalable vision solutions
- Explore the intersection of vision and robotics
- Work on low-level and physics-based vision algorithms
- Master’s (MS) or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent practical experience
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of computer vision and machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C
- Proven experience in projects or commercial systems related to autonomous driving, robotics, or 3D vision
- Hands-on experience with multi-sensor data processing and fusion (GPS, IMU, cameras, LiDAR)
- Expertise in parallel programming (e.g., CUDA, OpenCL) and system optimization
- Demonstrated experience in SLAM, depth estimation, 3D reconstruction, or pose estimation algorithm design
- Experience in developing VR/AR applications
- Strong academic background with publications in conferences/journals such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, or IJCV
- Experience deploying and managing ML models in large-scale cloud environments
