Evaluation
Gathers pertinent data on patients of all ages
Performs routine hearing evaluations for all ages Performs hearing aid evaluation and fittings
Performs cochlear implant evaluations and mapping
Plan of Care
Analyzes data to identify patient needs and potential risks Determines patients prognosis for recovery
Establishes individual goals with patient and/or caregiver
Creates individualizes plan of care considering developmental level and cultural differences
Modifies plan of care based on reassessment and patient response
Coordinates and communicates patient care effectively with ENT team for all aspects of
care
Skilled Intervention
Implements plan of care
Change the plan of care /treatment to reflect change in patient status and response to
treatment
Provides appropriate education
Documentation/Billing
Use medical terminology
