Construction Project Manager

Join 43 North Real Estate as we develop, build, manage, and broker residential and commercial real estate. This position will primarily support Bace Build our construction entity, but will also include support of our real estate development activities. We able able to create our own construction opportunities through our partnership with our affiliated development company 43 North Real Estate, primarily focusing on adaptive reuse projects converting historic buildings into residential multi-family using a variety of tax credits.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

Duties

• Estimate, bid, lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Utilize construction management software.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
• Review and approve project estimates, budgets, and schedules while maintaining accurate records of expenditures.
• Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate blueprint reading and interpretation for proper execution of construction plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and principles.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and proficiency in Bluebeam for document management is preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills to manage teams effectively.
• Ability to solve problems promptly while maintaining a focus on project goals.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
