Job Summary: This position is based out of Charlotte, NC. Employer is a privately owned, locally operated Home and Business Electronics integration and installation company. We specialize in automation systems, networking, lighting, distributed audio & video, esoteric 2-channel and home theater. We are seeking a punctual, accountable candidate to join our team at apprentice level and serve our existing and future clients while learning the intricacies of installing, maintaining, and servicing A grade home and business electronics systems. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are more important relative to this position than experience but any construction related experience will be helpful. Awareness of residential etiquette is a must. The right candidate may earn opportunities to gain additional education relevant to our industry. Overnight travel is likely. This job can be physically demanding – lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in attics and crawl spaces will be an expectation. Must have a reliable vehicle with which to get to work. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems and components under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute installation tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and the National Electrical Code (NEC) while working on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
