Medical Services of America Hospice is currently seeking an experienced Full -Time Medical Social Worker for our Hospice patients in Myrtle Beach, Conway, Loris, Georgetown (Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg) SC .
- Provides social work services in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
- Works with the interdisciplinary team directly, or through coordination of team members, to provide appropriate assessment and support patients and families.
- Provides assessment for normal and complicated grief and provides bereavement counseling as appropriate.
- Serves as a liaison with other community resources.
