Adventist HealthCare Cardiac Associates seeks to hire a Nuclear Medicince Technologist for our Cardiovascular Specialty offices who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Nuclear Medical Technologist you will:
• Consistently produces high quality NM images using knowledge of NM education, IV skills, computer processing and image enhancement. Prepares and administers medications and radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established procedure. Performs diagnostic CT scans, when appropriate, according to established protocol. Accurately documents activity in appropriate computer systems including but not limited to: HIS, RIS, PACS, Teleradiography, image processing). Provides general patient care as necessary within the NM departments.
• Performs Hot Lab functions including the acceptance, maintenance and documentation of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Performs periodic QA checks as required by state and federal law.
• Maximizes patient throughput and demonstrates teamwork with coworkers by managing large patient volume including the transport of patients to and/or from NM as necessary.
• Assists in orienting and training of new employees and students
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited NM program with AS or BS degree.
• Registered CNMT or ARRT (N) registration,
• Maryland state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 1 year experience preferred
•Proficiency in IV access

Pay Range:
$34.58 - $51.87If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
