Cash Provisioning Analyst (I) - PAI

Job Title Cash Provisioning Analyst (I) - PAI Job Description Cash Provisioning Analyst – This position will provide forecasting and load direction, while optimizing bailment and load cost. The individual will need to be highly motivated, detail oriented, and experienced with Microsoft Office. The person will operate in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment and they must be passionate, accepting of a changing environment, and constantly looking to influence the future outlook of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: · Forecast future cash load amounts for ATMs · Place cash orders with funding bank · Coordinate pickup and delivery of cash from correspondent banks to vault branches · Optimize bailment usage and cash loads · Analyze cash cycle to optimize cost · Coordinate cash load schedules with vault branches · Monitor, track, and report on low cash and out of cash events · Order and coordinate emergency cash loads · Liaison between funding bank and vault branch · Monthly statistical reporting to management · Provide backup support to others within department · Some travel may be required, 5% - 10% · Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The competencies required for success in the Cash Provisioning Analyst role include: · Composure: Is cool under pressure; does not become defensive or irritated when times are tough; is considered mature; can be counted on to hold things together during tough times; can handle stress; is not knocked off balance by the unexpected; doesn't show frustration when resisted or blocked; is a settling influence in a crisis. · Decision Quality: Makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure; able to make a quick decision. · Technical Learning: Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge—like Internet technology; does well in technical courses and seminars. · Problem Solving: Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers. · Time Management: Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently; values time; concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities; gets more done in less time than others; can attend to a broader range of activities. · Creativity: Comes up with a lot of new and unique ideas; easily makes connections among previously unrelated notions; tends to be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · College degree or relevant work experience required · Accounting or Finance background a plus · 3-5 years’ experience in the ATM industry preferred · Proficient and advanced Excel knowledge required · Strong understanding of numerical concepts, including ability to reconcile account activity A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word and Advanced Excel skills · Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets containing formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup, graphs, etc. · Experience with Cash Management Software System(s) preferred · Must be capable of learning new software and applications · Solid math skills WORKING CONDITIONS: This work is performed in a business office setting. The working environment can be distracting due to noise. EFFORT: Must be able to see, hear, speak, and listen. Must be an excellent listener. Constant moving around the office to address questions and provide coaching. Continuous looking at dual computer screens. Daily contact with management and co-workers. Work can be stressful and requires a calm, patient demeanor. Lifting of 10 pounds or less, which can be accommodated.
