As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the stores/inventory areas for a seamless tube manufacturing in Kennewick, WA.
Your Role
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the stores/inventory areas. Oversees the inventory management, receiving, stocking, replenishment, and issuing of parts, materials, and equipment. Maintains and monitors the accuracy of the stores inventory database and proper stock levels. Manages ASM inventory that includes all stores items, spare parts, shipping, and tooling.
Review current stock levels and place requisitions as needed to ensure timely replenishment of stores items.
Run weekly stores issues report and reorder per the min/max levels. Evaluate and adjust min/max on stores items as necessary.
Manage check in and out of contractors including safety orientation, PPE, and badges.
Supervise receiving including UPS, FedEx, and other deliverables.
Process all outgoing shipments related to stores.
Order and maintain appropriate inventory of production consumables including nitric acid, lime, grit, oxygen, and other gases. Maintain certificates of analysis databases.
Process new part number requests into item maintenance and MRP.
Maintain and update inventory database.
Manages cycle count activity.
About You
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Competence with Microsoft Office programs including Teams, Excel and Word and UPS and Fed-ex software is also preferred.
What you can expect from us
The salary range for this position is $19.70 to $29.50 per hour and it is full time.
