Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN at 453J - Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides therapeutic services in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting to enhance patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Communicate progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA
- Minimum six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
