Your Role
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and optimize the Dayforce HCM system, ensuring smooth system operations, configuration, and user support across payroll, benefits, and time & attendance while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role will also support cross-function data analysis using tools like Power BI, Qlikview, and Infor Birst.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and maintain Dayforce modules- including payroll, benefits, and time & attendance- while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Design and improve HR workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience while resolving system issues managing Dayforce major releases (2x/year) and ensuring system reliability.
Generate and maintain workforce-related reports (e.g., turnover, compliance, payroll metrics) to support HR and leadership decisions.
Manage profile administration, login issues, plus train HR staff and end users on Dayforce functionalities and updates.
Closely collaborate with the HR payroll and Benefits Team.
Documentation of policies and procedures around Dayforce.
Assist in the implementation of future projects, potentially including Workday Integration, Case Management System (ServiceNow) implementation, onboarding of new sites, and potential Open Enrollment initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power Bi, QlikView, and Infor Brist, integrating data from multiple business areas including HR, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Build and optimize data models and SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data while ensuring accuracy and governance.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to define KPIs, address reporting needs, and deliver actionable business insights.
Required Competencies
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Dayforce system administration and workflow configuration.
Understand of labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices
Advanced SQL skills for querying, extracting, transforming, and analyzing data.
Expertise in building interactive dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI, QlikView, and Infor Brist.
Familiarly with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and integrating data from multiple sources.
Knowledge of cloud- based platforms.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Effective collaboration with cross- functional teams to meet organizational geals.
Strong documentation skills for policies, procedures, configuration, and training.
Experience/ Education
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, data analytics, business, or a related field ( or equivalent experience).
Experience- 3 years of experience with Dayforce as an administrator, or a similar HCM platform. 2 years of experience creating Bi reports using Power BI, QlikView or Infor Birst. Experience managing and integrating data from multiple business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM, and financial systems), Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
