Logistics Operator B

Key Performance Areas

• Unloading and loading of trucks

• Operation of powered industrial equipment

• Inspection of inventory, packed goods, and returned materials

• Material selection and allocation for customer orders

• Computer utilization to effect inventory transactions and paperwork generation

• Physical handling and packaging of inventory to customer specification

• Participate in and leading daily shift planning meetings

• Successfully operate in a team-based environment, employing influential leadership.

• Successfully perform coordinator assignments

• Administrative duties

• Mastery of all job functions at the Distribution Center

• Inbound material handling 

• Outbound material handling 

• Cycle Counting

• Freight handling non-bulk freight, I.e. UPS, FED EXPRESS, DHL

• Machine operation

• Miscellaneous tasks as needed to efficiently run logistics operations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• To work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery

• Concentration and attention to detail

• Ability to perform in constantly changing, multi-cultural team environment

• Basic computer skills
