SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst- provide operational support for business end users in the financial operations space.
**This candidate MUST have worked in a manufacturing environment with “LOTS” or “BATCHES”, i.e. pharma, food productions, tools, chemicals, etc. We will be using SAP to track every piece of equipment and hardware down to the very last screw that we purchase and/or manufacture. And our products have a “LOT” number on them from their production date/time. Even if we throw something away, we will track it. So, if they don’t have that experience, do not present the candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze existing business processes for improvements and efficiencies, as well as develop new processes and solutions within existing production applications and also evaluate and implement new business applications.
- Leverage SAP experience and knowledge to support best practices with proven understanding of process integration within the SAP landscape.
- Provide hands-on support for various business groups through problem solving, SAP PP/MM/WM/SD configuration, functional documentation, testing, developing system documentation, and also training materials.
- Work with Senior SAP System Analysts, as well as partner with other members of the applications support team and subject matter experts/functional analysts to drive process and systems improvements throughout the Logistics organization.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
- 3 years of SAP Supply Chain Functional experience and SAP PP/SD/MM/WM/IM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level experience with SAP configuration, implementation, and support in an ECC 6.0 environment in the areas of SAP Production planning and Logistics Execution.
- Expert level experience with batch management, traceability, and document management systems.
- Working level experience with SAP configuration of Sales and Distribution, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Materials Management.
- Extensive knowledge of integration points across SAP modules such as PP, MM, IM, WM and FI/CO.
- Strong understanding with GL Account determination configuration.
- Prior experience with the creation of training, technical, and business process documentation.
- Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and spoken).
- The ability and willingness to work effectively in a team.
- Prior Experience in SAP EDI Administration/Vertex SAP Support/ Crystal reporting.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
