Ecommerce Site Merchandiser
The Ecommerce Site Merchandiser, in collaboration with the Senior Site Merchant, will be responsible for managing all product catalog management and product merchandising activities on site. You will be responsible for using site data & analytics to measure performance and customer behavior and recommend/implement improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyzing desktop and mobile behavior and optimization results to develop strategies for increasing key performance indicators and providing a better customer experience
- Collaborate with the buyers, marketing, creative and customer service teams to coordinate and execute product and content updates
- Responsible for executing day-to-day merchandising process & strategy
- Responsible for site content updates, including homepage, landing pages, site banners, and all product content
- Use historical data and industry trends to develop and support merchandising decisions that also align with company-wide initiatives.
- Curate product detail pages and content, including configuring, adding, removing, editing information to increase consumer engagement and drive conversion
- Analyze product performance on site and work to optimize product categories & search results
- Provide expertise and disseminate knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and online competitors, identifying trends and online growth opportunities
- Working with Director of EComm & Senior Site Merchant, develop and execute robust A/B testing plan and strategy, and site development roadmap
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed
Skills
- Experience managing/implementing various Ecommerce conversion driving initiatives
- Attention to detail, tech savvy and very comfortable with digital analytics
- Flexible/Adaptable - able to quickly shift priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus
- 3-5 years of e-commerce and site merchandising experience
- Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines
- Shopify experience preferred, or other similar content management platforms
- Proven success with data, analytics, reporting and marketing required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with website analytical tools and digital experience platforms (ContentSquare/Hotjar)
