Hourly Pay:
$15.00/hr.

Rotating Shift: Thursday to Monday 4 AM to 12:30 PM

As a Forklift Operator- Pallet Sorter is responsible for Heavy Lifting by hand sorting pallets to grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed from pallets prior to returning to customer. When using a forklift the Operator moves pallets and other materials through warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift is 50% Pallet Sorting by hand is 50%
What You'll Do
- Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
- Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
- Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
- Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What You Need
- Forklift certification preferred
- 1-3 years of forklift experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
- Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work overtime as needed

- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
- The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
- May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
