General Manager Responsibilities

  • Upholding the rules and regulations of the Company
  • Protecting the safety and security of all employees, guests, and Company property
  • Ensuring that employees are hired, trained, developed, and supported to ensure their success
  • Ensuring that all schedules are posted at least two (2) weeks in advance by noon on Friday
  • Ensuring that monthly inventories are submitted to accounting by the 1st of the month at 5 pm
  • Diligently performing regular preventative maintenance to Company buildings, equipment, and property
  • Keeping all Company facilities clean and sanitary
  • Adhering to all local and federal work safety regulations
  • Adhering to all local and federal food, beverage, alcohol, and tobacco service regulations
  • Complying with the requests of any local or federal law enforcement official
  • Communicating and reporting to company managers and owners on a daily basis
  • Fostering a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude and encouraging open lines of communication between employees, departments, and businesses.
  • Ensuring that payroll is submitted completely by Monday at noon every two (2) weeks dependent on the pay schedule
  • Ensuring that time clock edits are completed daily to guarantee accurate financial reporting
  • Maintaining the established quality standards for service, and food beverage production by following written recipes and standards of service
  • Documenting all violations of company policy following established documentation protocols
  • Preventing loss of product and operating supplies through theft, breakage, and waste
  • Submitting orders promptly, using established, accurate, and up-to-date order guides
  • Verifying that the pricing and indicated quantities of any delivery is complete and accurate based on invoices and order guides
  • Ensuring the satisfaction of our guests and performing expedient and effective service recovery when necessary.
  • Being proactive in preventing service interruptions or substandard product quality. (Handling complaints)
