Azure Architect (W2 & Local Only)

Job Summary:

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Architect/Developer to lead and execute a critical enterprise migration project from SAP HANA and Oracle Fusion with legacy components in ColdFusion. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Azure expert with a strong architectural background, capable of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and modern cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure to replace legacy SAP HANA, Oracle Fusion, and ColdFusion systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define cloud strategy and migration roadmap.
• Design cloud-native applications and integrate them with existing enterprise systems.
• Lead the development of secure, scalable APIs and data pipelines.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and manage infrastructure as code (e.g., using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Ensure best practices for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Perform hands-on development, testing, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of software development and architecture experience.
• 5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
• Strong experience in cloud migration projects involving SAP HANA, Oracle Fusion, and legacy systems (e.g., ColdFusion).
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL, and cloud data integration tools.
• Familiarity with ColdFusion applications and strategies for modernizing or replacing them.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate)
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes on AKS)
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle integration patterns in Azure
