This role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions while guiding technical teams and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
- Technology Expertise: Utilize Java or .NET technologies to build and integrate cloud-native applications.
- Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide architectural recommendations.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, data protection, and governance.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines.
- Innovation & Emerging Tech: Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud computing and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 12 years in IT, with at least 3-5 years as a Chief Solutions Architect in cloud environments.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, .NET, Python, or similar technologies.
- Project Management: Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical teams, drive collaboration, and mentor engineers.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
