Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Tester with expertise in Cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in testing data pipelines, and proficiency in SQL to validate large datasets efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on data warehouses and cloud-based solutions.
- Validate data transformations, loading, and extraction processes using SQL and other testing tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to define data quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Work with Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform services to test and validate cloud-based data solutions.
- Automate ETL testing processes using Python, Selenium, or other automation frameworks.
- Generate test reports, metrics, and document best practices for data validation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in ETL Testing with a strong background in data warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, and cloud-based ETL tools.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience with data profiling, data quality assurance, and automation testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow on Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for ETL testing.
- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for test automation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data testing.
