Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Analyst will design, execute, and improve test strategies for new development and system enhancements. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work across QA, Development, Product, and Automation teams in an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Execution:
- Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards.
- Work on both Front-end & Back-end testing, including web applications and web services.
- Perform Content Management System (CMS) testing for AEM and Drupal.
- Conduct Responsive testing for different devices and browsers.
- Defect Identification & Debugging:
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
- Debugging and troubleshooting application defects.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Coordinate with Product, QA Automation, and Development teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
- Identify new tools/processes/approaches for enhancing testing efficiency.
- Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain test progress reports.
- Track multiple test executions and summarize results.
Required Experience & Skills:
Technical Expertise:
5-10 years of QA experience, specifically testing APIs, web applications, or enterprise software.
Experience with CMS platforms like AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and Drupal.
Knowledge of Responsive testing, HTML, and CSS.
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Rundeck).
Understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.).
Soft Skills:
Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented and collaborative mindset, while also being able to work independently.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, IT, etc.) OR extensive hands-on experience in software testing for enterprise applications.
