Excellent opportunity for a tax accountant in public accounting. The position will develop and works on a wide variety of tax projects under the supervision of tax professionals by performing the following duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of basic and intermediate individual tax returns
- Researches fundamental tax issues using online tools
- Possesses a basic understanding of book / tax differences
- Preparation of federal corporate (C and S) and basic partnership returns
- Preparation of tax depreciation schedules including proper classification of assets
- Preparation of property, payroll, and sales tax returns as needed
- Performs other essential duties as needed
