Job Description:
As a Construction Superintendent/Field Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they adhere to approved plans, specifications, and schedules. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, Architects, Interior Designers, subcontractors, and Trade Partners, to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Oversight:
- Oversee the construction project, ensuring it adheres to the plans, specifications, and schedules as approved via Contract, Selections, and Purchase Orders.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify any defects or deviations from the plans and take necessary corrective actions.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, Architects, Interior Designers, subcontractors, and Trade Partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain open communication with all stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all construction work meets 4C quality standards as defined by the Construction Checklists.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
4. Scheduling:
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager to create and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and milestones.
5. Project Closeout:
- Oversee the closeout process, including completing final inspections, obtaining necessary approvals, and Final Punch Out.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and accurate.
6. Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities, including internal and external daily reports and progress photos.
7. Safety Management:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct safety meetings, ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and address any safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent/Field Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficient in construction management software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
