The 4C Group is a luxury custom home builder based in Park City, UT. We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with a background in high-end, luxury residential projects. Our team provides comprehensive interior design specification services for new builds, as well as full turn-key furniture and furnishing packages.
As an Interior Designer at the 4C Group, you will play a critical role in supporting the Lead and Senior Interior Designers in shaping the aesthetic and functional vision for each project. From developing design concepts to preparing detailed documentation and assisting with installations, you will be an integral part of ensuring each project’s success. Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, sketches, and presentations under the guidance of the Lead and Senior Interior Designers. Contribute creative ideas and solutions to design challenges while adhering to project requirements and client preferences.
- Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for interior design projects. Collaborate with the design team to ensure design documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals and standards.
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment suitable for interior projects. Assist in sourcing and selecting materials based on design criteria, budget constraints, and sustainability considerations.
- Assist in reviewing design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and design intent. Participate in quality assurance checks and site visits to monitor construction progress and address any design-related issues or concerns.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets. Ensure all project-related documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the project team and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in interior design. Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Prefer a degree in Interior Design, 2 or 4 year
- Highly organized
- Proficient in AutoCAD - design drafting and technical documents, Adobe Creative Suite - photoshop renderings, Microsoft Office and/or Apple products
- Prefer knowledge and familiarity with Revit
