Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations by providing administrative support and maintaining organized records for our Family Advocacy Program. This position requires proficiency in various office tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of various database software packages.
Duties
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications via phone systems and email.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist with data entry tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support personal assistant duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Utilize Google Suite for document creation, data management, and collaboration with team members.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with military policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
Skills
- Proficient in phone systems and effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in data entry with attention to detail for accuracy.
- Familiarity with military software preferred, specifically databases.
- Advanced computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.
- Previous experience as a Clerk or in a similar administrative role in the military is preferred.
