Business Development Team

Job Location : Visalia or Clovis

Schedule : Monday - Thursday : 9 hours / Friday : 4 hours

Job Description and Responsibilities

As a proposal coordinator, you will help manage the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals for 4Creeks. A proposal coordinator is responsible for establishing the company's guidelines, vision, and financial outline for completed proposals. You will work alongside the Senior Proposal Coordinator to complete proposals, from initial design and coordination through submission and storage of the final documents. This position will report to the Senior Proposal Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Proposal Management :

Coordinate the preparation, development, and timely submission of proposals, statements of qualifications, and bid packages.

  • Analyze RFP (Request for Proposal), RFQ (Request for Qualifications), and bid documents to identify requirements, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Develop a detailed proposal schedule and assign tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Content Development :
  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client needs.

  • Tailor boilerplate material and standard templates to meet specific project requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, including project managers, architects, engineers, and marketing staff, to gather technical content.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings and proposal reviews to align team members on objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Act as the central point of contact for all proposal-related communications.
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams to align proposals with the company's strategy and goals.
  • Brand and Design :
  • Ensure all proposals are visually appealing and adhere to the company's branding and graphic standards.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create layouts, charts, and other visual elements to enhance proposals.
  • Database and File Management :
  • Maintain and organize proposal content libraries, including resumes, project descriptions, and standard responses.

  • Track proposal progress and outcomes, including feedback from clients, to improve future submissions.
  • Other Duties :
  • Assist with award submissions, marketing collateral, and presentations as needed.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, clients, and competitors to provide strategic insights.
  • Minimum Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Marketing field
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Good time-management skills
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Candidate must be proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Ability to conduct final Quality Control check, including proofreading for grammar and RFP / Q compliance
  • Compensation

    Hourly rate will be determined by the candidate's skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. We consider our interns as temporary employees, therefore not eligible for our Benefits package. The expected pay range for this position is $24 / hr to $30 / hr.
