POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Associate collaborates with the Facilities, Operations and Retail teams to ensure all the departments daily tasks are properly and safely executed in a timely manner. This position requires a self-reliant individual with experience in repairing and maintaining high speed, specialized / automated machinery, and sufficient general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electric. The Facilities Associate must ensure all areas of the facility are kept well organized and clear of hazards and show an aptitude to work and schedule around each departments needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and supervise all company and facility policies and procedures.
Assist with all training needs of the departments.
Delegate and coach the team while maintaining a hands-on lead by example approach.
Ensure all areas, stations and processes of the department comply with all local and state regulations.
Liaison with 3rd party vendors to coordinate facility improvements.
Ability to handle emergencies and collaborate with various departments to enhance overall workplace functionality and efficiency.
Partner with department heads to maintain the safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees and visitors.
Promote a respectful work environment in daily interactions with all employees and while performing all tasks.
Follow instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks.
Supervise correct operation of all equipment and machinery in the facility.
Track inventory of all machinery, equipment, parts, tools, hardware, etc.
Complete work orders on time to ensure consistent workflows do not get interrupted.
Monitor and track routine and preventative maintenance needs for all equipment and machinery including production machinery, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, etc.
Maintain a high level of communication with other departments focusing on efficiency and productivity to minimize / eliminate any potential disruptions to production workflow.
Build maintenance schedules around the rigid facility schedules so workflows are not interrupted.
Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success.

Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
COMPENSATION
17 (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Paid Bi-Weekly Basis
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical / high speed Production equipment experience, 3 years.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting experience, 3 years.
Must be able to respond to emergency calls and work at least 1 day on the weekend
Cannabis industry experience, 1 years (preferred).
Advanced communication, math, organizational, and computer skills.
Dispensing organization agent identification card (able to obtain).
Technical school certification or industry training equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items / product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse / facility environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse / facility environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods. The warehouse / facility may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse / facility may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
NOTE : The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending / descending stairwells while traveling throughout the building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
