Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Porter to join our team. This position requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage daily cleaning tasks while also assisting with minor maintenance duties.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and office spaces.
- Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
- Assist with custodial duties to ensure facilities are well-kept and presentable.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address any immediate concerns.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with residential painting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interaction with staff and visitors.
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices.
