Key Responsibilities:
- Chair pre-construction meetings and review contract requirements
- Evaluate change order requests and cost/time impacts
- Enforce contract requirements and interpret specifications/drawings
- Provide accurate measured quantities and review pay estimates
- Attend all necessary meetings and run weekly construction meetings
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years of experience as a Public Works Construction Manager
- Registration as a CA Civil Engineer or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Knowledge of Caltrans regulations
- Prior experience with state-and federally-funded projects
- Understanding of roadways, underground utilities, and signalization
