Key Responsibilities:
-Perform implant procedures: Conduct thorough evaluations, treatment planning, surgical placement, and restoration of dental implants.
-Patient consultations: Explain dental implant procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients, ensuring informed consent.
-Oral health assessments: Perform comprehensive exams to determine the suitability of dental implants, including medical history and diagnostic testing such as x-rays, CT scans, and 3D imaging.
-Treatment planning: Collaborate with patients to create customized treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences.
-Follow-up care: Monitor healing and provide follow-up treatment as necessary, ensuring a smooth recovery and successful implant integration.
-Team collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, and hygienists within the practice to deliver seamless patient care.
-Patient education: Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care to ensure the longevity of implants.
-Maintain accurate records: Document patient history, diagnoses, and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and practice policies.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- State of California Dental License (active and in good standing).
- Completion of specialized training or certification in implant dentistry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implant dentistry or oral surgery, preferred.
