Job Summary
The Construction Support Specialist provides essential administrative support to the Grid Investment Construction (GIC) team , assisting with invoice auditing, financial tracking, contract administration, and project coordination . This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in managing construction-related documentation and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Invoice Management
- Audit and reconcile invoices for Grid Investment programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with GIC contractors and inspectors to verify invoices have proper supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly accruals for Grid Investment programs.
- Track project expenses and assist in budget management .
Project Coordination & Documentation
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of construction-related documentation .
- Support the Team Leader in contract administration tasks.
- Participate in the review and analysis of project data and metrics , including production reports and status updates.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Construction project management and/or construction administrative experience required.
- Intermediate (or greater) proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Preferred Experience (a Plus, but Not Required)
- Experience with CAMP, JETS, Fiber, Distribution, or Utility operations .
