Job Overview :
4P Consulting is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Utility or Pipeline Industry . This role is responsible for leading and managing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) projects that support Transmission and Large Pipeline business units . The ideal candidate will work closely with various business units stakeholders and technical teams to integrate and optimize GIS processes for operational efficiency.
This position requires strong project leadership data integration expertise and collaboration across multiple teams to enhance GIS applications and data management in pipeline operations.
Key Responsibilities : Project Leadership & GIS Implementation :
- Lead and manage Large Pipeline GIS projects from initiation to completion ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Develop and implement new GIS processes to support the integration and management of Transmission and Large Pipeline data .
- Create detailed project plans including timelines milestones resource allocation and risk management strategies .
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders addressing any scope changes or challenges.
