We’re on a mission to cultivate a healthy, sustainable food system through education, innovation, and collaboration—and we’re looking for a dependable Landscaper to help keep our grounds beautiful, functional, and welcoming to the community.
About the Role:
As a Landscaper at 4Roots, you’ll be hands-on in maintaining the natural beauty of our 40-acre campus. From planting and pruning to mowing and mulching, your work will help create a space that inspires learning, growth, and connection.
What You'll Do:
- Mow lawns and maintain turf areas
- Edge walkways, beds, and borders
- Blow leaves and debris from hard surfaces
- Weed, plant, and trim in landscaped areas
- Maintain irrigation systems and identify drainage or pest issues
- Support seasonal cleanups and special projects
- Use a variety of landscaping tools and equipment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
- Have at least 1 year of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- Are familiar with landscaping tools and machinery
- Know your way around irrigation systems and basic repairs (preferred)
- Enjoy working outdoors and getting your hands dirty
- Are dependable, self-motivated, and work well independently or as part of a team
