Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Company Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients/residents. Job Summary: The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and rehabilitation centers. They work under the direction of RNs and physicians to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of patients. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assessment: Conduct basic patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording symptoms. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient care and progress. Collaboration: Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans. Education: Educate patients and their families on health issues, medications, and treatments. Support: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and CPR if necessary. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols. Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program and current licensure as an LPN. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience: Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is often preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is usually required. Working Conditions:  LPNs typically work full-time, though part-time positions are also available. Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
