What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Server Assistant position at 4th Tavern Lake House?
Primary responsibility includes delivering food orders from the kitchen to the customers' tables quickly and accurately. Our food runner works with the expo, back of the house team and server staff to maintain exceptional service for our patrons. This position is an excellent entry level position for anyone interested in the food and beverage industry. The food runner must be able to identify menu items and ingredients, special requests and restaurant layout.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Experience preferred, but we would love to train the right employee. The shift is generally through busy dinner hours. Nights and and weekends and Sundays are a must for the candidate. Compensation includes daily tips from waitstaff.
