Summary
As a Home Health Aide at 4U Home Health Care South, LLC, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities and personal care. This position is essential in fulfilling our mission of delivering compassionate support that enables individuals to thrive in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
- Launder clothing and linens as needed to maintain a clean environment.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately.
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required.
- Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or appointments.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a home health aide or similar role is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient care and personal assistance.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices is a plus.
- CPR certification is beneficial but not required upon hiring.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live independently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
