Role Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a knack for connecting with others. Your journey with us begins as a door-knocker/canvasser, tasked with establishing and nurturing relationships within your designated area. As you grow in this role, you will become adept at generating leads within your service area, which will always remain a key aspect of your responsibilities. Canvassing is foundational to our business growth, so getting comfortable with it early on is crucial.

No prior experience in Seamless Gutters is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training. While sales experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. During your role, you will provide customers with estimates for new gutter system installations. This involves measuring the dimensions of houses and downspouts, capturing detailed photos, and sketching the gutter system to aid in material planning and installation briefing. Typically, this process takes around 15 minutes for measurements and an additional 10 minutes to calculate the estimate. You will then present and discuss this estimate with the customer, highlighting the products we offer.

The ability to canvass effectively is vital to our business's success, with significant growth opportunities depending on your skills. If you excel at generating leads but face challenges in closing deals, we may team you up with a more experienced salesperson to enhance your success rate. This role is commission-based, and we are open to structuring a compensation system that reflects your potential. For those interested in advancing to a sales manager position, we have a 20-minute video detailing the career path, which I can share upon request. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, contingent on passing a city background check for a solicitation permit. Upon establishing your sales credentials, a national background check will be conducted via asktheseal.gov before assigning you company-generated leads. Our strategic sales compensation program rewards self-generated leads more generously than business-generated ones, and successful representatives may receive a company vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in construction or project management is advantageous
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Must pass a felony background check (no felonies within the past 5 years)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $81,227.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
