Facilities Mechanic Lead 2nd Shift

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that all office areas, as well as outside areas, parking lots, and yard are clean and neat, check to ensure office, break rooms and restrooms are cleaned.
  • Ensure rest areas are sanitized and
  • Assist in monitoring conveyor line during shift Report issues at end of shift to Facilities Supervisor / Manager.
  • Repair all issues that can be fixed upon For example -
    • Band Replacement
    • Flat top belts
    • Photo Eye adjustment and
    • Any additional items as per training
  • Set up and take down to support company events – includes lunches periodically.
  • Complete and maintain documentation of all items on Daily
  • Complete all assigned projects as directed by Facilities Supervisor and or
  • Work with outside vendors as needed, to support facility
  • Keep track of parts used and plan for
  • Prepare an End of Shift Report to advise what was accomplished as well as incomplete projects and other information such as parts needed / parts put into use.
  • Report any safety/security concerns observed during your
  • Oversee facilities support staff on
  • Train team members on processes in department
  • Support 5S initiatives and Process Improvement
  • Ensure best housekeeping practices are being obtained
  • Ensure all working tools are in place and accounted for
  • Operate electric lifts, electric pallet jack, cardboard baler, and steel strapping machine, as
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following credentials:

  • High School diploma or
  • Experience working with and repairing mechanical issues on equipment such as conveyor belts and other distribution machinery.
  • Equipment Certification for electric lifts, Electric Pallet Jack, Cardboard Bailers and Steel Strapping machines preferred.

Pay Range:  $20.00- $22.00 per hour
