What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote after Training - Dispatcher for Airport Car Service position at 5 Guys Transportation?
We are a mid sized airport car service and we need someone to monitor the fleet/GPS, adjust flight arrivals and ensure all drivers are on time to their trips. We provide all equipment needed (computer, Monitors, desk phone, headset etc)
W2 Position. Paid weekly. Hourly, no comission. You are not required to pay for your own certifications. You do not need to sign up other agents under you.
$19/hr

- Tuesday - Off
- Wednesday - 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM
- Thursday- Off
- Friday- Off
- Saturday - 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Sunday - 3:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Training will be Monday-Friday 10a-6pm for approximately 5-8 weeks in person after which you will need to have a quiet dedicated room to dispatch from. High speed internet is required and a wired connection is best. Speed testing and verification of suitable work space will be required prior to job offer.
Previous dispatching experience is preferred but will work with anyone who demonstrates skills needed to be successful in this position.
You use 3 screens to monitor up to 15 drivers per shift on GPS, Track flights, use Google Maps to assess the best option for the next trip(s) and adjust the fleet based on traffic, flight delays, add on trips and any other potential changes to the schedule. A 24 hour Operations Manager is on call in case of emergency.
Additionally you will answer customer phone calls, take reservations, and look ahead to schedule the fleet according to company directives.
