Top 100 AmLaw firm seeks an associate to join its Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in their Jacksonville office.
Qualified candidates should have 2-4 years of business litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have some experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings, conducting / defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Litigation Department. AmLaw 100 experience preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar.
