Job Details: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions across the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. You will collaborate with both leadership and staff to enhance employee experience and maintain a positive, compliant work environment. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday. 8-hour shifts

Reporting Relationship(s): HR Generalist

Responsibilities

HR Functions:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
  • Administer timesheet and PTO management systems.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, updating policies as needed.
  • Support performance management programs, including employee development, training, and conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Handle inquiries related to HR policies, employee benefits, and employment issues, providing timely guidance and solutions.
  • Manage employee engagement and morale programs to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and implement occupational health and safety initiatives, ensuring workplace safety and legal compliance.

Recruiting Functions

  • Identify staffing needs and collaborate with the hiring manager to recruit top talent for various positions.
  • Develop and post job descriptions across various platforms.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates for cultural fit, and perform reference/background checks.
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events, career fairs, and networking efforts to attract talent.
  • Analyze and optimize the recruitment process to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of employee information in compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the HR team in developing and executing employee retention strategies.
  • Administer the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and assist in process automation to streamline HR functions.
  • Contribute to employee engagement, sustainability, and community relations efforts.

Workplace: Norcross, GA (in-office required)

Required Experience And Skills

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations (DOL, EEOC, FMLA, etc.).
  • Experience with employee benefits administration, recruiting, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, and work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • SHRM certification or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
